CAS accumulation tanks are engineered for integration into central heating systems with solid fuel firing boilers (Bio-Tec, BioSolid, EKO-CK P (EKO-CK), EKO-CKB P (EKO-CKB), EKO-CKS, CentroPlus, CentroPlus-B…) in order to store the heat energy and enable economical and efficient functioning of the boiler. CAS are produced in seven different sizes (volumes 475, 740, 940, 1435, 1920, 2960, 3820 and 5055 litres) and in four types: as an accumulation tank (CAS), as an accumulation tank for sanitary hot water processing with a built in stainless steel water heater (CAS-B), with an built in tube exchanger for connecting the solar collector (CAS-S), as well as with the built in stainless steel water heater and an tube exchanger (CAS-BS). These options enable contemporaneous use of different kinds of renewable energies, making them ecologically acceptable and economical in use. With a CAS accumulation tank connected to the system, the boiler firing can be performed in a suitable period of the day. If outdoor temperatures are milder, the room heating and the sanitary water temperature levels can be maintained across several days. Accumulation tanks are produced in accordance with ISO 9001/2008.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CAS ACCUMULATION TANK:
- Designed to be connected to central heating systems in order to store heat energy.
- Increases solid fuel firing boiler efficiency.
- Made out of tested steel sheet in accordance with ISO 9001/2008.
- Have good thermal insulation within a leatherette jacket.
- Accumulation tanks can also be connected to each other as modules, in order to increase the total accumulation.

- CAS 501 (475 lit.), CAS 801 (740 lit.), CAS 1001 (940 lit.), CAS 1501 (1435 lit.), CAS 2001 (1920 lit.), CAS 3001 (2960 lit.) CAS 4001 (3820 lit.), CAS 5002 (5055 litres)- accumulation tank
- CAS-S 801 (740 lit.), CAS-S 1001 (940 lit.) – accumulation tank with an built in tube exchanger for connecting the solar collector;
- CAS-B 501 (475 lit.), CAS-B 801 (740 lit.), CAS-B 1001 (940 lit.) – accumulation tank with a built in stainless steel water heater;
- CAS-BS 501 (475 lit.), CAS-BS 801 (740 lit.), CAS-BS 1001 (940 lit.) – accumulation tank with the built in stainless steel water heater and an tube exchanger for solar collectors.

SUGGESTED SIZING CRITERIA FOR CAS:
Wood gasification boilers: min. 50 litres of tank volume per each 1 kW of the boiler output.
Solid fuel boilers: min. 30 litres of the tank volume per each 1 kW of the boiler output.
